Catching Up ~ Learning Curve

After the strenuous ordeal with Alli and the halter on Saturday, she seems to have made great strides forward, catching up with Beau in the civilization category. She looks really cute in the bright blue Weaver break-away halter.

After I fed everyone, and they were all in the barn, he went out to 'work' the Blacks. Part of the work is grooming and getting them to pick up their feet. The new farrier is coming on Monday, April 4, and we'd like to have maybe a chance of getting their feet trimmed. It might be a fantasy, but we'll see.

Last night, after I groomed her, both sides, top, bottom, left and right, and picked up her feet, he came in and managed to not only put a lead rope on that pretty new halter, but he was able to lead her around, and around, her stall! After that he put on the saddle pad, again and again. I am so proud of her! And him. This is just the most awesome move forward.
