Water

He decided that we needed a 'whole-house filter system' installed. I honestly don't know why we didn't do this before, we never thought of it, but now it is done.

He's been off since before Christmas, and we've had a great holiday with family and friends. We've gotten a couple things done, played games and music, got a few good rides in, but there's something about last-minute plumbing projects that speak to us!

It started with the toilet: he replaced the water connection, which was not 'new' being a re-used part. Later that night I could still hear water running. He went to the BIGORANGEBOX this morning to get the innards for the toilet, replacing that. Then he got the idea that we needed 'whole-house filtration system' because of the sediment in the toilet tank. It did look like there was a beach dune in the bottom. There is a filter in the refrigerator for the ice machine.

Back to the BIGORANGEBOX to get the filter, turning off the house water right before dinner to install. No worries, the PVC pipes set up and water was restored.

Today is also our twenty-seventh wedding anniversary. Sweet!
