After the rain blew out late yesterday afternoon, the cold settled in. I brushed out the boys, to fluff up their winter coats. Did not blanket them overnight.
It is going to get colder, and with the stiff breeze I plan on blanketing them tonight.
Winter officially starts late Monday night, so we expect colder temps, right? Last weekend I was riding in a t-shirt; this weekend I'll more than likely be wearing my flannel-lined jeans. I highly recommend EVERYONE getting a pair. L.L. Bean (no affiliation) and Wrangler (no affiliation) carries these jeans, easily ordered on-line. Jeans that feel like pajamas AND block the wind? Can't be beat!
