Barn Swallows
Finally, the barn swallows have returned! Because of the late start of spring, they missed their usual return date by a couple weeks. I haven't noticed them roosting in the barn, but they are swirling overhead, darting in and out and flying low over the fields.
Breaking away from our urban lifestyle, finally living the dream! Not everyone shares this dream, but you can have what you wish as long as you never lose sight of the goal.
When the economy tanked, we took advantage of the housing bust and the chance of a lifetime. It is not easy, but when you have an opportunity to attain your dream, don't think twice.
I started this blog to keep track of our projects, because, well, you know. The memory is the first to go, right?
People thought I was nuts getting a green 3-year old when I turned 50. Now closer to 60 than 50, we're not looking back. No one thought this was a good idea, either, but I was not looking for approval, was just reporting the news. If not now, when?
