Cowboy Swimming Hole
This is my feet in the muck bucket! We are sitting in our 'woods,' 14 trees, mostly maples planted on the north side of the house. A shady oasis on such a hot, hot, hot, day the end of June. High noon and its blazing hot.
Breaking away from our urban lifestyle, finally living the dream! Not everyone shares this dream, but you can have what you wish as long as you never lose sight of the goal.
When the economy tanked, we took advantage of the housing bust and the chance of a lifetime. It is not easy, but when you have an opportunity to attain your dream, don't think twice.
I started this blog to keep track of our projects, because, well, you know. The memory is the first to go, right?
People thought I was nuts getting a green 3-year old when I turned 50. Now closer to 60 than 50, we're not looking back. No one thought this was a good idea, either, but I was not looking for approval, was just reporting the news. If not now, when?
