The Middle
The middle of the calendar year, it certainly does not seem like it has been six months since New Year's day. Time really does speed up out here in the country, down on the farm.
Power was restored at our place around 4:30 p.m.
Breaking away from our urban lifestyle, finally living the dream! Not everyone shares this dream, but you can have what you wish as long as you never lose sight of the goal.
When the economy tanked, we took advantage of the housing bust and the chance of a lifetime. It is not easy, but when you have an opportunity to attain your dream, don't think twice.
I started this blog to keep track of our projects, because, well, you know. The memory is the first to go, right?
People thought I was nuts getting a green 3-year old when I turned 50. Now closer to 60 than 50, we're not looking back. No one thought this was a good idea, either, but I was not looking for approval, was just reporting the news. If not now, when?
