GO!!!!!!
Saturday we delivered the minis to White Fences Farm. There truly is a void when they are not here. A Mockingbird, nesting in the big pine tree in the parking lot, is imitating Sprite's whinny. She's not here and I can still hear her call out.
Last minute things, going over the list twice, getting the trailer ready to roll without anything shifting. Extra hay packed in, hay nets full, litter box stowed in the shower stall, cat in the small crate, dogs nestled in their moving mats and dog beds.
GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breaking away from our urban lifestyle, finally living the dream! Not everyone shares this dream, but you can have what you wish as long as you never lose sight of the goal.
When the economy tanked, we took advantage of the housing bust and the chance of a lifetime. It is not easy, but when you have an opportunity to attain your dream, don't think twice.
I started this blog to keep track of our projects, because, well, you know. The memory is the first to go, right?
People thought I was nuts getting a green 3-year old when I turned 50. Now closer to 60 than 50, we're not looking back. No one thought this was a good idea, either, but I was not looking for approval, was just reporting the news. If not now, when?
