It's been cold, everybody has spent the night inside for several nights in a row. The lows have been in the low teens. That's cold. The local ski resorts are making snow, under bright starry skies. The Moon is waning, about half now.
The days are getting longer, minute by minute. Still not enough daylight to accomplish much. I've been wearing two coats, flannel-lined jeans and Thinsulate leather gloves. I'm not a hat person, if I was a knit cap would probably be best.
